Commercial terms, in plain English.

Fixed, published, the same for everybody. All prices exclude VAT.
One fee, paid on booking. It stands on its own: you keep the document whether or not you commission anything after it. No credit against later work.
Half on booking, half on handover. Two rounds of amends included; further rounds charged at our day rate of £750. The full package and The Opening are priced at 25% off the card and paid in three parts: on booking, at the midpoint, on handover.
Paid in advance. Thirty days' notice either side, no minimum term. Campaigns and seasonal menus are booked and paid individually.
A Walk-Past Test within a week. A Business Review within two weeks of us having what we need. A menu, and the builds that follow, within a month. If we can't start when you need us, we say so before you pay.
Every file is handed over in an editable format, in your own accounts, on final payment. Nothing is hostage and nothing is licensed back to you.
Access to your sales data, your accounts (Google, Meta, website) and the people who run the place. Dates move by however long it takes to get them.
We model the return, with the assumptions printed. We don't guarantee it. We're accountable for the work, the standard and the dates; you're accountable for running the venue.
Photography, print, signage and web hosting are bought from partners at cost, or you buy them direct. Any commission or referral fee we receive is disclosed to you in writing before you commit.
You confirm you have the right to use any text, images and recipes you give us, and that menu claims – allergens, provenance – are accurate. We don't check them.
Your numbers stay between us. We may name you as a client and show the work once it's live, unless you ask us not to.
Work pauses at 14 days overdue. Statutory interest applies after 30.
Business Review: full fee if cancelled inside seven days of the start. Builds: work done to date at the day rate, capped at the deposit. Retainers: the notice period above.
